Ryan
I started the business in 2013 after working for 9 years at another accounting firm in the eastern suburbs. The business started on my kitchen table in my 2-bedroom unit. After a few years We moved to our first office on Martin street Brighton after my wife kicked Claire and I out of the house due to my 6-month-old daughter starting to crawl. Fast forward 10 years, we are still on Martin street, just in a bigger office and with more incredible staff. I love helping our wonderful clients and seeing them succeed. We as a team pride ourselves on communication and providing good old fashion service to all clients, big or small.
In my spare time I enjoy time with my wife Karleen and daughter Evie. We love travelling the world and seeing new things and creating memories. I also like playing sport (mostly golf, cricket and footy) and I really enjoy a beer anytime I get the chance.
Claire
I joined KPR in September 2015 where I began working with Ryan at his kitchen table as he began his business. Prior to this we had worked together for 8 years at our previous workplace, so I am extremely proud to see Ryan build such a successful business & see the growth he has achieved.
My role at KPR as practice & client manager is to assist Ryan with the day to day running of the office & assist clients with a variety of business requirements such as Payroll, Workcover, ASIC, ATO as well as general tax & accounting assistance.
I have 2 adult children & 3 gorgeous granddaughters & live in the beautiful Yarra Valley where I love to enjoy a sneaky red at one of the many local wineries.
Lusia
I joined KPR in September 2021, right in the midst of Victoria COVID lockdown. My first meeting with Ryan and Claire was through a screen monitor Zoom meeting. From the interview, I had a good feeling that I would be enjoying myself working in a friendly, family oriented and fun environment.
I graduated with a Master of Accounting degree from Curtin University of Technology, Western Australia. Previously, I worked in various organizations in different industries, within Australia, and overseas in Singapore and China, in Business Operations and Human Resources roles.
I love working with numbers and reconciling dollar amounts. My role at KPR as an Accountant gives me ample opportunities to apply my hard to die pedantic habits in a positive way. I am passionate about providing tax and bookkeeping advice to clients, while at the same time building a constructive and cordial relationship with them. In my spare time (if I have any), I am occupied with my two young children’s activities, watching Netflix, writing, reading, singing, and sleeping.
Naena
I joined KPR in 2024 and have been incredibly grateful to be part of a close-knit team of kind and talented people.
I’m an administration assistant working under Claire, our practice & client manager, to assist the team and clients with any admin and tax needs.
After work you can find me relaxing at the beach, spending time with my dog, or discovering a new wine bar with friends.
Erica
Hi! I’m Erica Chour and I joined the KPR team in mid-2022 starting in admin, I have now been training as a junior accountant. Coming from an educational background in commerce, accounting has been an interesting field to work and explore within. KPR’s expansive services has provided me with the opportunity to not only work with numbers but with compliancy bodies to ensure our clients are looked after in all aspects.
In my free time, I love to explore new restaurants, spend time outdoors and play basketball.
